Campus members learned of the passing of Reverend Richard Mauthe last week. Mauthe served 30 years in campus ministry and was appointed Chaplain of the Newman Club in 1961. Together, he and other local ministers created the Ecumenical Center, where he served until 1991. In recognition of Father Mauthe’s role, the Ecumenical Center was renamed in 2010 to The Richard Mauthe Center for Faith, Spirituality, and Social Justice. See more about his life at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/greenbaypressgazette/obituary.aspx?n=richard-r-mauthe&pid=183580636#sthash.BhNTC578.dpuf. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Richard Mauthe Center.
