AP: Survey shows sexual assault rates in UW System

Regent Judith Crain of Green Bay said Thursday that she was “terribly disturbed “ by a survey that found a high rate of sexual assault on and off campuses that mostly goes unreported, the Associated Press reports. Of more than 13,000 respondents, more than 285, most of them female students, said they had been sexually assaulted. A majority never reported the attacks to police or school authorities, according to the report.
