Lita Ford and Femmes of Rock, Jan. 13 at Weidner Center

The female violin ensemble led by rock violinist and arranger Nina DiGregorio and starring members of the Bella Electric Strings will play rock covers by AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Prince, Metallica, Queen, David Bowie, Pink Floyd and others, Jan. 13 at the Weidner Center. Billed as “a night of women’s empowerment,” a portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit regional charities that help women, including the YWCA of Green Bay, the Veterans Mentor Group of Appleton and the Jackie Nitschke Center.
