UW-Green Bay’s chancellor prepares to lead campuses out of pandemic

GREEN BAY – Stereotypes come to mind when someone says “college president” or “chancellor.”Tweed jacket, perhaps with patches on the elbows. An Oxford with a paisley necktie. A touch of New England on the resume — maybe a Boston accent, maybe a degree in the classics from an Ivy League institution. Probably frequent references to attracting, educating and graduating “the best and the brightest.” Little about Michael Alexander matches that stereotype.
