Mary Jane Herber ’03 (Humanistic Studies) was honored as the 2018 recipient of the Daniel Whitney Award, presented by the Greater Green Bay Chamber. The annual award is given to the Chamber’s volunteer of the year. She has volunteered in several capacities for the Leadership Green Bay program, and is known for her long-time role with the local history and genealogy department at the Brown County Library. She has also served on numerous boards of directors including the Brown County Historical Society, De Pere Historical Society, National Railroad Museum and Wisconsin State Genealogical Society.
