Kujawa: Public Safety proactive with ‘concealed carry’ issue

WFRV, Channel 5, aired a story Thursday (Sept. 15) about how UW-Green Bay plans to adjust when Wisconsin’s concealed carry law goes into effect Nov. 1. In keeping with UW System policies, officials here will prohibit guns in all campus buildings, and plan to place signs to that effect at all building entrances, including residence halls. “Our plan is we are going to be very proactive, zero tolerance,” Public Safety director and Police Chief Tom Kujawa told Channel 5 in an interview. “We understand the sensitivity of it, and we will act accordingly.” Read more.
