In the news: Rise in college costs far outpaces inflation

We know the cost of college is constantly on the minds of parents and students, and the issue has been at the forefront recently amid nationwide concerns over student debt and wrangling over loan interest rates. WLUK, Fox 11 News took an in-depth look at the college costs picture in a Tuesday (Aug. 28) report focusing on UW-Green Bay. College costs have risen much faster than the rate of inflation, the report said, due to factors that include the labor-intensive nature of higher education and competition between institutions.
