Trombley on co-op grocery
Downtown Green Bay is “ripe for access to food retail,” UW-Green Bay Small Business Development Center Director Christina Trombley told the Press-Gazette. “Early indicators show people are looking for some type of grocery store. If we can pair that with food sustainability, it’s really win-win.” The state Department of Commerce awarded the city $12,500 for a feasibility study on a cooperative grocery store and shared commercial kitchen.
