Collections underway for inaugural ‘One Stop School Shop’

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — The greater Green Bay community can help make a difference for students this upcoming school year.

Collections are taking place now through July 18 for the ‘One Stop School Shop‘.

It’s a collaborative effort between the Service League Green Bay, the Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay, Howe Community Resource Centerand Newcap.

Items needed include:

  • Markers
  • Pens
  • Folders
  • Pencil Cases
  • Notebooks
  • Crayons

The public can drop off backpacks and school supplies at the following locations:

  • The Salvation Army (Kroc or Corps Community Center)
  • PCM Credit Union (Branches in Green Bay and Howard)
  • Bank First (Branches in Denmark, Howard and Bellevue)
  • Bank of Luxemburg (Branches in Howard and Bellevue)

Donations will be distributed the first week of August at UW-Green Bay’s Kress Center.

The goal is to help 5,000 students.
