Critic’s column: Weidner’s Stage Doors series featured on wearegreenbay.com

The Weidner Center’s Stage Doors Education Series got some press Friday (May 23), as Local 5 Critic-at-Large Warren Gerds wrote about daytime theatre for kiddos in his latest post on the station’s website. “There’s a whole industry out there to serve the interests of teachers in all grades who want to enhance learning experiences for students,” Gerds writes. “For students, there’s an element of excitement on those special days when they leave the classroom (or home for homeschoolers) for what becomes a memorable time.” The blog post covers Stage Door’s reach — more than 56 cities and 19 counties in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan — and offers a preview of the 10-title, 20-performance 2014-15 season, which begins in November.
