Kaye to talk Tuesday at Milwaukee’s historic Turner Hall

UW-Green Bay faculty member Harvey J. Kaye will appear at one of Milwaukee’s historic venues with a book talk and signing for The Fight for the Four Freedoms: What Made FDR and the Greatest Generation Truly Great. He will appear at Turner Hall in Gestern Hall, 1034 N. Fourth St., at 7 p.m. Tuesday (May 27) in an event sponsored by Boswell Book Co. and the Milwaukee Turners. Turner Hall is a longtime community center and place of culture, intellectual development, fitness and recreation; the Turner movement dates to the 1800s in both Germany and German-settled regions of the United States, including Milwaukee. It has historic ties to promoting social reform, engaged citizenship and open and honest democratic government. There’s a promotion for Kaye’s talk at here.
