Graduates move on into tough job market
A tough job market has college graduates both concerned and hopeful.
On graduation day, Wisconsin’s unemployment rate was hovering above 9 percent, a 27-year high.
But that doesn’t mean it’s a difficult employment market for every graduate of the Class of 2009.
“It’s always hard to get a job,” Human Development Prof. Regan Gurung told a reporter. “The people who work the hardest at getting it, will get it.”
