Gazette profiles Saturday’s Alumni honorees, including Hollingsworth

Thursday’s edition of the Green Bay Press-Gazette gave prominent placement to an article about the four UW-Green Bay alumni who will be honored Saturday (April 30) with Alumni Association awards. Recipients are Laura Hollingsworth, group president of Gannett Co. Inc.’s U.S. Community Publishing Division in Des Moines, Iowa; Robert Cera, president and CEO of Baylake Corp. in Sturgeon Bay; Daoud Abboud, founder and CEO of United Technology Solutions-UTS Group in Amman, Jordan; and Jody Weyers, communications director for the Lakeland Chapter of the American Red Cross in Green Bay. (The awards dinner is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m at the Weidner Center.) Hollingsworth, 44, a native of Sturgeon Bay and one-time P-G intern and advertising rep, told the paper “I particularly enjoyed my communications, speech and media training, and they did do a very good job.
