UW-Green Bay third annual nonprofit conference slated for March 3 |Press Times
Hosted by UW-Green Bay, the keynote speaker will be Eliz Greene, stress management expert and developer of the Stress-Proof System.
“Leading with Heart” is the theme of this year’s conference scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
“This event supports regional nonprofits, fostering collaboration and providing professional development opportunities for all levels of local nonprofit professionals. Recognizing the different needs, there will be multiple sessions throughout the day with presentations specific to all nonprofit staff — from entry-level to executive,” a UW-Green Bay release stated.
“Highlighting the conference is keynote speaker Eliz Greene, stress researcher, speaker and consultant, who will address attendees about ‘The Stress-Proof System for Inspiring Change and Preventing Burnout.’ Surviving a heart attack at age 35 while seven months pregnant with twins, Eliz knows stress management isn’t a ‘nice-to-have’ but rather an essential survival skill. For over two decades, Eliz has been on a mission to inspire busy people to pay attention to their heart health.
“The closing session ‘Agents of Change’ will be delivered by Nacho Enriquez Jr., a leading authority on emotional wellness for first responders, blending nearly two decades of law enforcement experience with a masters degree in science in education specializing in community mental health counseling.”
