A disturbing video, shared through Facebook Messenger is causing concern in Northeast Wisconsin. Experts say social media has created a platform where posts can go viral in minutes. Police officers say to report such incidents, don’t share them. UW-Green Bay’s Jena Landers was interviewed for the story. “The ability to connect with people globally continues to grow. It’s in our pockets, you become very accessible to people.” Landers says it’s important to examine a link before clicking, “Sometimes there’s a preview of the video. So, it’s something that if you get a gut feeling that you shouldn’t be clicking on it, don’t.” Fox 11 and WTAQ had the story.
