It’s official: Tuition, fees up 4.5 percent for 2011-12

The UW System Board of Regents on Thursday (July 14) approved a 5.5 percent tuition increase for most System students, including those at UW-Green Bay. Segregated fees here are holding steady, however, meaning the total increase — tuition plus fees — will translate to 4.5 percent (for Wisconsin residents attending UWGB full time). Harden to Press-Gazette: Increase will impact students
UW-Green Bay Chancellor Thomas K. Harden this week talked to the Green Bay Press-Gazette about how the tuition increase will affect students. “I understand the situation we’re in,” he said in a story that ran Thursday (July 14). “We’re willing to do all that we can to be as efficient as possible. We knew we were going to get a cut and planned for it. But I don’t like having to pass on increases to students, I realize it will have an impact.” Read the full story.
