Jim Fonder, the custodial supervisor for the University Union, made his annual guest appearance in costume last weekend at the University Union “Tis the Season” program. Jim’s wife, Nancy, had to make an emergency wig at the last minute, as somehow his old wig had been loaned out and was nowhere to be found. Lucky for Jim, Nancy’s improvised solution worked so well that his young grandchildren attending the program sat on his lap, as all good little girls and boys do at Christmas time, and didn’t even recognize him.
