CFPA’s Warner tapped for panels on hot voucher issue

Associate Prof. Lora Warner, head of the UW-Green Bay Center for Public Affairs, has been busy as of late, lending her expertise to discussions on the hot-button issue of school vouchers. As we told you here previously, Warner was a panelist for last week’s CFPA community voucher discussion (read press release), and also was featured during a similar discussion during a Thursday (Nov. 14) summit in Milwaukee. The seventh annual Henry A. Maier State of Milwaukee Summit featured a panel titled “Life After Vouchers: Expansion, Accountability and Outcomes.” Fellow panelists included the University of Oklahoma’s Deven Carlson (also featured at the UW-Green Bay event), as well as Assistant Prof. Michael Ford of UW-Oshkosh. The Wisconsin Eye Public Affairs Network recorded the Nov. 14 panel; you can watch it here.
