Faculty note: Huh presents papers on immigrants

Kudos to Prof. Yunsun Huh (Democracy & Justice Studies), who presented two papers at the Social Science History Association’s 37th annual meeting, held Nov. 3-4 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Both studies presented are about U.S. immigrants across 42 countries of origin, focusing on tied movers. Huh presented “Being Tied Matter?: The Effect of Home-Country Gender Status on the Educational Selectivity of Tied and Untied Female Immigrants” Nov. 3; and “Do Tied Movers Matter?: The Effect of Home-Country Gender Status on the Labor Market Success of Immigrants” Nov. 4.
