Faculty note: Goff

Prof. Victoria Goff, Information and Computing Science, presented her research on Mexican journalist Ricardo Flores Magón at a session, “Alternative Journalism in the Southwest,” at the 29th annual American Journalism Historians Association convention on Oct. 7 in Tucson. At the turn of the last century Flores Magón’s newspaper, first in Mexico and later in the U.S. borderlands, fomented revolution against Mexican dictator Porfirio Díaz. Goff was also attending the conference in her role as Finance Chair of the AJHA.
