Professors Paul Mueller, Debra Pearson, and Georgette Heyrman publish article in Nutrition and Health

Professors Paul Mueller (Human Biology, Biology), Debra Pearson (Human Biology, Chemistry), and Georgette Heyrman (Human Biology, Chemistry) recently had a peer-reviewed article published in the scientific journal Nutrition and Health. Seven Human Biology undergraduate students are co-authors on this original research paper. The article entitled “Vitamin D and docosahexaenoic acid inhibit proliferation of the ovarian cancer cell line OVCAR4” examines the impact of vitamin D and omega 3 fatty acids on ovarian cancer cell growth.
