Professors in Half-Marathon

This past weekend two UW-Green Bay professors competed in the race walk division of the Fox Cities Half-Marathon in Appleton. One of their colleagues shares news that Mike Draney, Natural and Applied Sciences (biology), won the men’s race with a personal best time of 2:14:38, and Angela Bauer-Dantoin of Human Biology placed sixth in the women’s race with a time of 2:36:58, an impressive outing especially when you consider it was her first competitive race walk. The half-marathon covers 13.1 miles.
