Report from Italy

UW-Green Bay Prof. Ray Hutchison (Urban and Regional Studies) helped organize the Everyday Life in the Segmented City conference in Florence, Italy held last week. Prof. Peter Marcuse (Columbia University) gave the keynote speech to participants from nearly two dozen countries spanning four continents. Hutchison was asked to organize the conference, sponsored by the Del Bianco Foundation, based upon the theme of a textbook he co-authored with Mark Gottdiener.
