Stevens Point honors jazz legend Ives

UW-Green Bay Prof. Emeritus Lovell “Ooooody” Ives will serve as guest conductor for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s 12th annual Soiree Musicale this Friday (April 23). Publicity for the event describes Ives as the first music major to graduate from UW-Stevens Point in 1957. He will join other alumni and performers at the annual fundraiser for UWSP music department scholarships.
