Faculty note: Blaney, students present at conference
UW-Green Bay faculty and students were among the presenters at the Midwestern Political Science Association conference last weekend. Political scientist Dallas Blaney, assistant professor of Public and Environmental Affairs, presented his paper “Can an NGO Abandon its Values? The Curious Case of the Nature Conservancy.” Additionally, Blaney served as chair and discussant for a panel on “Network Analysis of International Relations.” ES&P graduate student Whitney Passint presented her paper, “The Role of Global Civil Society in the Implementation Process of Local Climate Change Policies,” and political science undergraduate Taylor Schmidt delivered a poster presentation on her research involving “Foreign Aid: Solving Gender Inequality and Empowering Women.”
