Sutton’s ‘Romeo’ has shot at New York City production

We’ll share more details as they develop, but Prof. Brian Sutton of Humanistic Studies reports that his original musical comedy Searching for Romeo, first staged last summer at UW-Green Bay, has a reasonably good chance of being staged at The New York Music Theatre Festival in July. No guarantees, but “Romeo” is one of 10 productions that are so-called “Next Link” finalists to be judged by a review panel consisting mainly of people who have won Tony Awards or Emmy Awards or Obie (off-Broadway) Awards.
