Sheepshead celebrates with Thursday panel discussion on arts ‘Money-Makers’

To celebrate its upcoming Fall 2009 issue, Sheepshead Review, UW-Green Bay’s journal of the arts, will host a panel devoted to professional opportunities in the arts.  The program has the engaging title “Professional Opportunities in the Arts: A Panel of Writers, Editors, and Money-Makers.” Free and open to the public, it will run from 5:15 to 7 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 3) in the 1965 Room of the University Union.

Faculty panelists include:

• Tara DaPra, discussing opportunities in publishing and editing nonfiction;

• Ellen Rosewall, discussing opportunities in the arts management arena for both visual and writing arts;

• Chuck Rybak, discussing opportunities in publishing and editing poetry
;
• Kim Nielsen, discussing the process of getting involved in publishing a book involving a great deal of research.
