Upcoming: Catch UW-Green Bay’s jazz ensembles next week

UW-Green Bay Music will present an evening of Jazz Wednesday (Nov. 5), when its Jazz I, Jazz II and Vocal Jazz ensembles take the Weidner Center mainstage at 7:30 p.m. The Vocal Jazz Ensemble and Jazz I Ensemble, both under the direction of Associate Prof. John Salerno, will bookend the evening of performances. In between, student Sam Stranz will direct the Jazz II Ensemble, filling in for the sabbatical-taking Associate Prof. Adam Gaines. Tickets are just $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
