Reminder: Population Connection’s Seager to speak Monday at EMBI event

Just a reminder that the Environmental Management and Business Institute (EMBI) will be hosting Population Connection president and CEO John Seager for a 6 p.m.address Monday in Room 250 of Rose Hall. As we told you here before, Population Connection — formerly Zero Population Growth — has advocated for population stabilization, informing people about their congressional representatives’ stances on population growth and family planning, and working to inform policy and funding decisions. Seager has written articles on population stabilization, including its connections to poverty, its future outcomes and the concern about population decline in some highly developed nations.
