In the news: Kraft offers insight on early voting

Early voting is under way in Wisconsin, and experts — including our own Michael Kraft — say it could make a big difference when the ballots are counted Nov. 6. Kraft spoke Wednesday (Oct. 24) with Green Bay Press-Gazette reporter Maria Amante, noting that upwards of 20 to 30 percent of the electorate could cast ballots early this year. Election Day traditionally has been the only day to vote, Kraft said, but this year, it’s simply the last day to vote. Kraft’s comments were part of a story on Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch visiting Green Bay Wednesday, encouraging voters to cast a ballot early for Mitt Romney. Full story.
