Just a friendly reminder that UW-Green Bay will welcome some 1,400 fifth-graders to campus this week as part of the annual Phuture Phoenix Fall Tour Days. The bigger of the two days is Tuesday (Oct. 9). Paired with UW-Green Bay student mentors, the fifth-grade students will visit the Weidner Center, residence halls and classrooms — and enjoy cookies with the Chancellor, to boot! It’s all part of UW-Green Bay’s signature program to boost college aspirations for students from low-income schools — a great initiative and a really fun day. More details.
