Heirloom Plant Sale details

Area gardeners can mark their calendars for a UW-Green Bay springtime tradition — the annual Natural and Applied Sciences Heirloom Plant Sale. This much-anticipated event will kick off at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 12 (numbers will be given out between 7:30 and 7:45) and continue until about 3 p.m. If plants are left over, there will be another sale starting at 9 a.m. the following Saturday, May 19. Members of the campus community and the general public can peruse a selection of 45 varieties of peppers (2,500 plants) and 53 varieties of tomatoes (3,800 plants), along with an array of vegetables, flowers and unusual herbs. We’ll be back later with another note of interest specifically for faculty and staff, but in the meantime… see complete info here.
