Slideshow: Backstage Pass draws big crowd for post-performance celebration

Following Friday’s (April 20) opening-night production of Cabaret, a sizeable share of the audience extended the celebration with Cabaret Backstage Pass. Held immediately after the show in the Weidner’s Fort Howard Hall, this one-time event offered the chance to rub elbows with the cast, crew and directorial team, hear live music and enjoy German desserts. The audience also heard from director and Theatre Prof. Laura Riddle, Chancellor Thomas K. Harden and Theatre booster Anita Resch, and viewed a special “page to stage” documentary about the large-scale show. Attendees say it was a terrific conclusion to an amazing opening night.
