East meets West with Orchid Ensemble’s 360° Thursdays concert event

UW-Green Bay Music will welcome guest artists The Orchid Ensemble March 27 for an insightful lecture and eclectic performance during the next installment of 360° Thursdays. The trio of musicians will discuss development of their innovative musical genre, which is based on the cultural exchange between western and Asian musicians. Their repertoire includes the traditional and contemporary music of China, world music, new music, jazz and creative improvisation. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27 in Fort Howard Hall at the Weidner Center. It is free but donations are appreciated. Check out our news release for more information.
