Finalists, forums announced for assistant chancellor position

The names and backgrounds of the three finalists for the position of Assistant Chancellor for University Advancement have been made public. Each candidate will visit campus for a day of meetings and interviews that will include an open forum and Q&A opportunity. Each of those 45-minute open sessions will take place at 1:15 p.m. in the 1965 Room of the University Union.

The dates and candidates:
Thursday, March 27 — Jeanne Stangel, interim assistant chancellor for university advancement, UW-Green Bay
Monday, March 31 — Matthew Rentmeester, vice president of development and public relations, Bellin College
Tuesday, April 1 — Christina Zitka, fundraising consultant, Appleton

At UW-Green Bay, the Assistant Chancellor is a member of the institution’s executive team and oversees the University’s fundraising, alumni, marketing and communication functions. Chancellor Thomas Harden is seeking to make a permanent appointment to the position currently held on an interim basis by Jeanne Stangel, who stepped in following the departure of Beverly Carmichael last July.
