‘Dragapella’ quartet Kinsey Sicks performing at UW-Green Bay

GREEN BAY — America’s favorite “Dragapella” beautyshop quartet, the Kinsey Sicks, are performing on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus on Wednesday, March 11.

The show starts at 7 p.m. in the University Union’s Phoenix Room. The event is free to UW-Green Bay students and the public.

The Kinsey Sicks have been performing their mix of music and comedy for the past 15 years, including a past performance at UW-Green Bay. Their combination of award-winning a cappella singing, sharp satire and over-the-top drag has audiences raving across the globe. Critics have called them one of the best shows in Las Vegas.

In 2001, the Kinsey Sicks were nominated for the Lucille Lortel award (the Off-Broadway Tony) as best musical. The nomination came from their critically acclaimed Off-Broadway hit, “DRAGAPELLA! Starring the Kinsey Sicks” performed at New York’s legendary club, Studio 54.

After the show, the members of Kinsey Sicks will host a panel discussion and hold a question and answer session with the audience.
