At ease: University to dedicate new veteran center Friday

UW-Green Bay’s student veterans have a new space to call their own, and will celebrate its grand opening Friday (Feb. 14) with an afternoon dedication event. The “At Ease: Veteran & Service Member Student Lounge,” located in MAC 124 (the former Grad Pad) is a space designed to help build camaraderie and facilitate and enhance a network of support, says Veteran Services Adviser Elaina Koltz. Chancellor Tom Harden and Vets 4 Vets Club president Ken Corry will speak during Friday’s event, which will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the new center. Refreshments will be served. Read more.
