Green Bay, Butler and Bellin Health partner on Jan. 29 Coaches vs. Cancer
Green Bay head basketball coach Tod Kowalczyk and Butler head coach Brad Stevens will join Dr. Michael Ray, M.D., Ph.D. of the Cancer Team at Bellin Health on Friday, Jan. 29 at the Resch Center for a breakfast to help raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer as part of the national Coaches vs. Cancer initiative.
Following a breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on the Resch Center court, Kowalczyk and Stevens will discuss overcoming challenges they face each year as coaches. Dr. Ray, a radiation oncologist, will share his knowledge and expertise of prostate cancer, including prevention tips and advances in treatment option. The event will last approximately two hours.
Tickets for the event are $25, with the proceeds benefiting the “Green Bay Phoenix Compete to Beat Fund.” Read more.
