The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the popular children’s book by Eric Carle, will come to life on the stage of the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts at UW-Green Bay on Saturday, Jan. 23. The story, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, tells the tale of the Very Hungry Caterpillar’s metamorphosis into a beautiful butterfly. The Caterpillar will be joined by an assortment of puppet friends, such as Little Cloud and the Mixed-Up Chameleon. The performance of this family-friendly event is at 11 a.m. Tickets are $8 and available at www.WeidnerCenter.com or by phone at (920) 465-2217, or in person at the Weidner Center Box Office or the University Information Center in the University Union.
