Blizzard and an extra-quiet Sunday

Blizzard conditions and a travel warning by the Wisconsin DOT resulted in the Cofrin Library being declared “closed” for the day on Sunday, Dec. 12. Elsewhere on campus, the general-access computer lab in Instructional Services closed at mid-day. (In both cases, students with internet access still had remote access to online learning resources.) Meanwhile, the University has notified on-campus residents of “Snow Emergency” measures this week to facilitate snowplowing. Resident students are asked to move their vehicles to allow for sequential plowing of the Housing, East Housing, Studio Arts and Apartment lots, in that order.
