We at the Log have the enviable ability to share good news with the UW-Green Bay campus and larger communities, day in and day out. Now students, faculty and staff and others can do something similar, thanks to a student-managed social web project. The “UWGB Compliments” Facebook page launched late last week, inspired by a similar project at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. The online community lets users anonymously share compliments by sending the page a message, which is then posted to Facebook. Props thus far include stellar staff, awesome roommates, phenomenal faculty and super students. You can check out all the feel-good messages, and leave your own, here: http://www.facebook.com/UWGBCompliments.
