For the seventh year, Upward Bound has adopted a family for the holidays. Posted on the bulletin board outside SS 1721 is a list indicating the items the family needs and/or wants. Donations of clothing, gift cards, non-perishable food, soap, shampoo, etc. as well as monetary donations to purchase items for the family will be accepted. Watch for the Upward Bound Parent Involvement Group Drop-N-Shop Tot Spot at East Town Mall, on Dec. 4, 5, 6, 18, 19 and 20. While you shop the stores and craft sales, drop the kids off while you shop; they will be kept busy making crafts and cards that they can give as gifts to family and friends.
