LTC manager Nelson earns fellowship
Congrats to Learning Technology Center manager Leif Nelson, who has been awarded a $2,000 Jane N. Ryland Fellowship to attend the Educause Learning Technology Leadership Program in Atlanta in June. Recipients of Ryland Fellowships are selected annually on a competitive basis, with awards made to individuals who demonstrate a commitment to higher education and information technology. The Fellowship Advisory Committee was “impressed with the well-focused, practical commitment reflected in [Leif’s] application.” According to the Educause website, the Learning Technology Leadership Program is “designed to broaden perspectives and develop leadership abilities, enabling the participants to assume leadership roles in applying learning technology to improve teaching and learning within their institutions.”
