Ponder this: Philosophers’ Café returns tonight

Join UW-Green Bay Assistant Prof. Christopher Martin for this month’s Green Bay Area Philosophers’ Café, beginning at 7 p.m. tonight (Thursday, Nov. 10) at Kavarna, 143 S. Broadway. Martin will explore the “Ethics of Food,” including the questions of what changes food production has undergone during the last century, and what that says about our dietary health. Other topics include how the institution of a ‘meal’ has changed of late, and what it says about our communal awareness. Martin also will explore what, if any, ethical dimensions exist in terms of how food is grown, harvested, transported and sold.
