Prof. Emeritus Jack Norman passes away
UW-Green Bay Professor Emeritus Jack Norman (Natural and Applied Sciences) passed away on Oct. 29. He was 72 years old. Prof. Norman came to UW-Green Bay in 1968 and retired as a full professor in 2002. He taught nuclear physics and radiochemistry courses and chemistry courses. Norman chaired the radioactive materials subcommittee and he conducted research on radon, paper and pulp chemistry and environmental issues. A memorial gathering will be held at Wally’s Spot Supper Club in Green Bay on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Read the full obituary.
