Life as an American diplomat in Latin America
On Monday, Nov. 8, Robin Meyer, the political counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Caracas, Venezuela will be speaking by videoconference to Prof. Gabriel Saxton-Ruiz’s Political History of Modern Latin America class. Meyer will be speaking about Hugo Chávez, the recent elections in Venezuela and life as an American diplomat in Latin America. The class is at 2:15 p.m. in Mary Ann Cofrin Hall 105 and is open to the campus community.
