Clery act notification
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act or Clery Act, signed in 1990, is a federal statute codified at , with implementing regulations in the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations at 34 C.F.R.668.46. The Clery Act requires all colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs to keep and disclose information about crime on and near their respective campuses. Compliance is monitored by the United States Department of Education.
Consistent with those obligations, the University is required to compile an annual report of all reports of crime and fire reported on or near campus over the reporting period. The University has completed the Annual Security Report and Fire Safety Report and it is available http://www.uwgb.edu/UWGBCMS/media/public-safety/files/pdf/Annual-Security-Report-2018-19.pdf as well as at the Public Safety website: http://www.uwgb.edu/publicsafety/
If you would like to receive a copy of the combined Annual Security Report and Fire Safety Report, you can stop by the Public Safety Office in the Instructional Services Building room 1024 or request a copy by calling 920-465-2300 ext. #2.
The Public Safety website along with the Annual Security Report and Fire Safety Report contain information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, fire safety, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. They also contain information about crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by UW-Green Bay; and on Public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.
