International student arrival and orientation

Last week, the Office of International Education extended a warm welcome to 76 new students at the Green Bay campus, marking the beginning of their educational journey at UW-Green Bay. In addition to a rich array of workshops and information sessions, these students had the opportunity to explore the enchanting landscape and culture of Northeast Wisconsin during a visit to Door County – an area not easily accessible by public transportation.

The new international students hail from countries spanning the globe, including Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Ethiopia, France, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, India, Japan, Jordan, Nepal, Nigeria, the Philippines, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Zambia.
