Emmons to be featured in Milwaukee museum event
Carol Emmons, UW-Green Bay’s Frankenthal Professor in the Arts and Visual Design, will be part of an Oct. 6 discussion on Wisconsin art and history at the Charles Allis Museum, 1801 N. Prospect Ave., Milwaukee. “Space and Place” will feature visual artists Emmons and Martha Glowacki, the director of the James Watrous Gallery at the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters in Madison. Emmons, an internationally acclaimed installation artist specializing in large-scale, site-specific works, currently has work on view as part of the Charles Allis Museum’s centenary celebration.
