American Intercultural Center event
This message from Deborah Rezac, diversity director:
“We would like to invite the campus community to our Annual Welcome (Back) Gathering in the AIC, University Union 150, on Tuesday (Sept. 8) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It is a popular event for multicultural students, faculty, and our friends and allies campuswide. The AIC is starting its second year in the University Union. We share the space with the Office of Student Life. As a “blended family,” the energy, resourcefulness, and programming expertise of Student Life has strengthened our multicultural programming and efforts. The Human Mosaic Brochure is a result of shared programming with Residence Life and Student Life, among others. This year the AIC is fully staffed and very excited about the opportunity to be leaders in the inclusive excellence planning (a UW System initiative), hosting the second Annual Ally Conference, and increasing academic support services to students. We will take a few minutes to introduce ourselves and provide a brief overview of our services. If you are available anytime between 11:30-1:30 on Tuesday, stop in and visit with our students! We look forward to meeting you and working together to support student success!”
